Twinkle Toes 2 month Update 9/30

Twinkle Toes is now just over 2 months old!  Where has the time gone?

Anyway and more importantly she is now up to 8 lbs 5.5 ozs. and 20 1/2 inches in length.  Her head circumference is now 14 3/4 inches.  I can't believe we now have an 8 pound baby given her birth weight of 3 lbs. 4 oz.!

She also received some of her shots today.  I refuse to have 6 shots given to a preemie - it's just doesn't seem like a wise idea.  She received DTaP, Hemophius Influenza B and Prevnar. 

Her next appt. is Oct 27th. and she'll receive her next set of shots and have an oxygen test to see if she can come off of it.  Let's cross our fingers that that happens.

Twinkle Toes First Pediatrician Appt. 8/30

Twinkle Toes had her first pediatrician appointment since being released from the NICU on 8/26.

She now weighs 5 lbs. 11 ozs.!  I can't believe she has already gained 4 ozs. since being released from the NICU.  Her head circumference is 13 1/2 inches.

Her next appointment is set for Sept. 30th which will be her 2 month appt. and she will get her first round of shots.
