Twinkle Toes had her first pediatrician appointment since being released from the NICU on 8/26.
She now weighs 5 lbs. 11 ozs.! I can't believe she has already gained 4 ozs. since being released from the NICU. Her head circumference is 13 1/2 inches.
Her next appointment is set for Sept. 30th which will be her 2 month appt. and she will get her first round of shots.

8 pm in the NICU
We have quickly learned that every night, at 8 pm in the NICU, is a very special time for us. That's because we get to weigh Twinkle Toes, which means we get to see what kind of progress she has made since the day before. It truly is a special time that we celebrate nearly every night!
It's really fun to update her message board with her new weight!
We also take her temperature, change her diaper and feed her but those are all things that we do everytime we are there and while it is special, it is not as special as seeing her progress on the scale!
